Here's what's stopping you, and what to do about it.

Your answers say this is fixable and the timing isn't urgent yet. So here's the version that doesn't cost you an afternoon on a call.

Your four filters

Every hiring manager runs these in order and stops at the first one you fail. The earliest filter where you answered "not yet" is your bottleneck, not the lowest-scoring one. Grab the guide for that one. Ignore the other three for now.

1  Fit

Fixed in an afternoon. Name one specific kind of analyst under your name, delete every instance of aspiring, and rewrite your top bullet as what changed.

2  Capability

Not about knowing more. It's depth in the three or four tools that appear in the ads you answer, and being able to defend every one out loud.

3  Evidence

The fix is rarely another project. Take one you have, give it a real company context and a recommendation at the end, and make it findable in under a minute.

4  Operating

Most people use AI as a calculator. Write this query, fix this bullet. The ones getting offers use it to build things that did not exist before, and can talk about how.

Why I'm not offering you a call

You told me nothing forces your hand in the next six months, or that six hours a week isn't realistic right now. Both are completely fine.

It just means the honest answer is go and fix the earliest filter yourself first. It's free, it takes a weekend, and it might be all you needed. A call before that would waste an afternoon for both of us.

I'll send you a few things over the next month that go deeper on each filter. If something changes and this does get urgent, reply to any of them and we'll talk properly.
